Studies in Constraint. (Maquette No.1)

The artwork is a small, upright maquette made from laser-cut card, composed of layered angular shadow shape arranged vertically. The surfaces are screen printed with a high-contrast black and off-white pattern resembling rough concrete, and the structure includes several rectangular cut-outs and three folded scores. Light passes through the openings, creating overlapping, architectural shadows that extend behind and within the form.
