The Start of Looking

Day 8 of 30 — “Turn to page 37; make an artwork” I returned to The Start of a Journey by Joni—one of the first books that taught me how to learn art without permission. This drawing is a quiet acknowledgment of origin: how practice begins, how lineage forms, and how an artist keeps choosing to look, translate, and continue.
