starting with a measure of time and with nostalgia from one year ago. a lunar calendar with handwriting on one of the pages in a part of my traditional medicine doctor in Hong Kong.

a pin cushion that was my mother's stacked on top of a box of pins, on top of nail scissors that i will use to cut thread because they're within reach- various pins, needles, some threaded to suit the pace I sew at are stabbed in the pin cushion, some order is in the pin cushion. on my bedroom floor, where i work from, it gets messy.

candles I found on the street which were hobby candles bent to a point where it couldn’t be used. I snapped them and rearranged them to suggest it could be used, no end;)

a found object- jumper for a baby doll that was unpicked, separated and stitched randomly. This sleeve, pinned at the time and stitched onto a free fabric sample claimed from sofa/curtain companies or similar.
