Today is a Great Day!

Get messy you say
Oh, that’s definitely my kind of way
From soap bubbles to paint
These are some of the different ways
I love to play.

Get messy
And have the perfect day
Jumping in puddles, splashing in the sea
Mud between my toes as I walk on the beach
What more could I ask for…

Get messy
And make a cake
With sugar icing floating through the air
And whipped splattered through my hair
What a wonderful way to start the day.

Do it backwards you say
What does that mean, on this dull cloudy day
Going forwards is hard enough
So maybe coming backwards might be an opportunity to dance and play.

Do it backwards is what you ask
Not straightforward like a usual task
So I’ve had to stop and pause
To see what comes to mind
And this little Suggestion
Makes me feel alive!

Fix something with your art
Where do I start?

So I will use my words
And put the struggle aside
