AND London, on behalf of Barratt London, is inviting artists and creative practitioners to submit creative proposals for 3-6 permanent public art installations at Springfield Village, a new, mixed-use neighbourhood in Tooting Bec, London Borough of Wandsworth. This commission aspires to deliver meaningful permanent public art installations that tie into and enhance the character of the locality and create a cultural legacy for the area. The public art may explore themes of mental health and well-being and reflect on the history and future of the Springfield Village site. Applications are encouraged from individual artists or groups/collectives. The total budget for this commission, inclusive of artist fees, materials, expenses, fabrication, installation, and all additional costs, is £95,000.
