Mortal Tragedy

The quote is from the very first part of Dante's Inferno, which is the beginning of his journey to hell. 'Page 37' is interpreted loosely here as an age (35-ish is mid-life when the book was written). To illustrated the quote, and compared it to modern life, the barcode is used, stretched to look like a forest.

Replaced the onomatopoeia in Marinetti's Futurist artwork 'Zang Tumb Tumb' (sound of war, machines) with James Joyce's 'Tattarrattat' (sound of knocking). 'Tattarrattat' is also a palindrome, symbolizing repetitiveness of things.

Equilibrium

Two opposing forces that are co-dependent, eternally maintaining balance. Visually represented here as a celestial objects — Sun(S) and Moon(M). It is also intended to be an innuendo to Sadism and Masochism (S&M) that basically followed the same co-dependent concept. The artwork is arranged so that it is rotatable (moon up, sun down and vice versa).

The end of our days. The artwork is revolved around the idea of death. It is a landscape image building with 3 symbols: *(Sky) =(Earth) ~(Sea), 3 ultimate destinations for the every living beings' remains, which eventually become one with nature itself.
