Messy is wonderful!

Drawing done with charcoal and pastel chalk, shows a wild little man (artist/ but I was also thinking of Rumpelstilzchen - a figure in a German fairy tale) with a long beard, running and dancing around; one of his slippers is already going lost, and several artists`utensils have also gone flying messily around. Of course a lot of colour has gone flying around here, too.

Backwards and upside down

I used a black-and-white photography of the market place of our town and partially painted over it (the houses got a touch of pink, the skye a touch of yellow...). I added a few human figures (some of them I drew with charcoal on a separate piece of paper, cut them out and stuck them on the market place). Some of them may be traced backwards, on their ways toward the foreground of the picture, and one figure is hanging upside down from the middle of the skye.

Cat therapy fixes a lot

I drew two cuddling cats with charcoal; they are lying together, one of them on his back showing his belly, and the other one is curled up a bit.

Several Flags

It´s a coloured drawing (charcoal, pencil, ink, water-soluble colour pastels), an ice-cream sundae filled with scoops - on top of this mountain of ice cream I drew a mountaineer waving a flag. The flag shows a banana. From the left side of the sundae there`s a great number of ants climbing up the ice cream sundae and carrying pirates' flags.

Seed of colour

I used water-soluble colour wax pastels and water colours and water. The painting shows three plants on a yellow-and-red window sill; the small pot on the left is green, small flowers are growing in it. On the right sight you see a small cactus in a blue pot. Page 37 has gone missing

I used an old book, tore out a few pages and folded them into birds. Three of them I painted a bit blue and red and sat them on top of the open book,

This is much louder

Oil on canvas; I painted the background in pink and white, in the middle of the picture is a small black-and-white figure, supposedly human, wearing a hat and holding a megaphone. At the right side of the foreground a somewhat bigger cat is opening his mouth widely allowing the observer to look right down his throat.

Portrait of Olga made blindfolded

I drew the portrait of Olga with chalk pastels on a wet piece of paper, used lilac chalk for the outlines and red for the glasses and lips. Since I didn`t look at the paper while drawing, the glasses have slipped down to the skin and the portrait looks rather abstract in general.

Artless eating

I used charcoal, water-soluble wax pastels and water colour. The picture shows a big face with wild black hair and sunglasses on a dark green background. The person has opened the mouth wide, tongue and teeth can be seen clearly. Only the part of the face from chin upwards is shown, the chin and anything below is hidden behind a tabletop which is covered with food - cakes on white plates and a blue cup.

Winter landscape

I made a drawing with graphite and charcoal. The drawing shows a tree without leafs at the richt side, there are hills with snow in the background, and from somewhere there a path seems to be emerging, turning more and more into the lines for musical notes. A few notes can be seen like drunken wanderers coming on the path toward the front; in the foreground a note with a friendly face is standing in the snow, on the left side of the path another note is standing upside down. A clef is lying down in the snow at the right side. the sky is rather dark, a full moon is shining.

Don`t play with your food.

I took a photo of a man and partly covered it with scraps of paper and jelly babies. The picture now shows partly the portrait of a man with a white full beard. A slice of salami is hanging out of his mouth. The upper part of the face is covered, only on top a shock of white hair seems to be protruding. Under the face the man's shirt with a colourful pattern and parts of a waistcoat are visible. The lower part of the nose is visible, too, but its upper parts and the eyes are covered with white and not-so-white scraps of paper. Two red jelly babies take the places of the eyes. I drew a kind of glasses around the jelly babies.

All dressed up

Pencil drawing, shows the sink in my kitchen with the window in the background. There are several plants on the window sill, parts of the kitchen cupboard can be seen, and there are some dishes like pots and a teapot, too.

The facelift added a few lines

It`s an old ink drawing done with a reed pen, I worked it over a bit - the drawing shows a deserted back yard leading to an old barn; a few things are lying around and grass and weeds are growing, too.

Black hour

Pencil drawing; it`s a dark room with a big window in the back (showing nothing but the black of the night outside. There are several black chess figures in the roome - king and queen, and a knight near the wall left to the wall in the back. The floor looks a bit like a chess board, too. Next to the knight an old wooden chair is positioned near the wall, too; on the left side of the window a slightly transparent wavering female figure in a very old-fashioned dress and a fan seems to be beckoning.

Almost tasteful artwork for someone who doesen

I took a not ery good photo of dinner (white mushrooms, green onions, corn salad and some vinegar sauce on a plate, with cutlery lying right next to the plate) and painted parts of it over with pastel colour and wax colour. I painted a few strawberries with water colours, cut these out and draped them on the plate, too.

Ode to a bird

I used pencil, charcoal, water-soluble wax pastels and water colours; the picture shows a chicken nesting in the front, it is looking straight at the person who looks at the picture. The rest of the picture is painted in brown colours, suggesting a nest, and there are four big white eggs clearly visible - lying behind the chicken, or dancing around the chicken.
