This residency open call is for UK-based emerging and mid-career contemporary visual artists. The eleven-week, fully funded residency will take place at URRA, Buenos Aires, Argentina from 7 September – 23 November 2026. URRA’s residency programme is an opportunity for self-led professional development, artistic exchange, experimentation and networking. URRA residency programmes generate spaces where artists can fully focus on their practice, and develop new projects with no pressure to produce finished work. URRA promotes the work of participants through different events that establish dialogue with the artistic audience and entire community in Buenos Aires and beyond. The residency includes accommodation, travel and a basic living expenses stipend of $250 per week. This residency is supported by ERA Foundation and developed in partnership with Gasworks.
