Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is seeking an artist(s) with a practice rooted in stone, to work with fragments of masonry from the former non-conformist chapel, demolished by the GLC in 1966. Proposals are invited for an artwork or memorial piece that thoughtfully reimagines this material. The work should respond to the history of the cemetery park and the chapel, acknowledge absence as much as presence, and sit sensitively within a living landscape shaped by nature, community, and time.
