Rosetta’s Artist Accelerator programme helps kickstart the careers of local artists that have faced barriers to their careers. This year five artists will selected and provided with access to networks, know-how, funded opportunities for public engagement and display of work, as well as mentoring sessions, all to help develop their socially engaged practices in the local community. Open to East London-based visual artists who are passionate about socially engaged art, local ecology, and community-led placemaking. Artist Accelerator members will develop and deliver the project and each will be given a fee of £1000 and a small bursary of £70 for travel or childcare costs.
