Magnetic is a joint Franco-UK initiative that brings together ten institutions to create a programme of artist residencies of 2 to 3 months each: five in France and five in the United Kingdom. Each residency pairs one French region with one UK nation. Artists from a French region may apply for the residency hosted by its partner UK nation, and artists from a UK nation may apply for the residency hosted by its partner French region. Selected artists are provided with accommodation, access to a work space and a monthly fee of £2,100 / €2500.
