the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) invites artists, artist duos, collectives, and artistic collaborations working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art to apply for a two-month production residency in 2026. The EMAP residency programme places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Applicants must therefore apply as a duo or collective, or propose a collaborative project with a partner of their choice or with a collaborator local to the host institution. The residency includes travel, accommodation, a €4,000 grant for the applying artist, a €2,000 grant for collaborating artist(s) or €6,000 for artists duo altogether and a €4,000 project budget.
