Forgan Arts Centre invites proposals for two funded residencies exploring migration, ecology and community engagement, responding to the site’s philosophy of an art centre as a garden. The awarded residencies offer time, space, and support to artists working with communities in meaningful and imaginative ways. For this opportunity, proposals are invited from artists, duos or collaborators who have lived experience of migration, who are from a refugee background or who have experienced forcible displacement. The residency offers £12,600 fee, £7,000 project budget, accommodation and studio, access budget, and support.
