The Women’s Library houses the most extensive collection of women’s history in the UK. Subjects include women’s suffrage; prostitution and trafficking; women in the workplace, public life and the church; the women’s liberation movement of the 1970s; the Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp (1982-2000); and interwar feminist organisations. Rare books in the collection are available to read online.
