The Edo Museum will be a world-class museum, research and education centre connecting West Africa’s ancient heritage to its contemporary arts and culture. It aims to be a hub for contemporary creatives in Africa and equip a new generation of Africans to be leaders in heritage management. A key purpose is to rediscover and preserve the history of West African culture and the heritage of the Benin Kingdom.
