The Mayor of London has launched the world’s first Dementia Friendly Venues Charter for cultural public spaces. It aims to make culture accessible to people with dementia through a range of dementia-friendly resources including:

  • inclusive performances,
  • dedicated relaxed sessions,
  • clear signage,
  • designated chill out zones and
  • staff training.

Includes a self-accreditation portal, training guides and a framework by the Alzheimers Society.
