A set of 6 principles that art organisations, galleries and institutions sign up to and work towards:
- Valuing & Rewarding Artists – covering fair pay, defined job roles, support access and owning their own copyright.
- Health & Safety – providing safe working environments to reduce physical injury, preventing workplace disputes and bullying.
- Diversity & Equality – providing inclusive recruitment, training, and mentoring.
- Work with Trade Unions – providing trade union membership.
- Social Responsibility – working with community stakeholders, paying artists for networking & skill sharing, and maintaining green policies.
- Mental Wellbeing – supporting artists with health conditions and disabilities, and incorporating a mental health first aid and policy.
