Established by artists for artists, DACS is a not-for-profit visual artists’ rights management organisation that acts as a broker for 90,000 artists worldwide. Since DACS was founded in 1984, they have collected and distributed over £75 million in royalties to visual artists and their estates (over £15m in 2014).
Their Payback scheme collects and distributes copyright payments for artists whose images have been used in printed material. Artimage provides a catalogue of artist images for licensed use. An extensive Knowledge Base covers all aspects of copyright and intellectual property for artists, including suggested licensing fees for print and online use of your work.
