The Sustainable Darkroom are looking for 5 UK-based individuals to join the funded Sustainable Darkroom Futures Residency, researching innovative systems for photography/filmmaking. This 6-month programme will culminate in an in-person exhibition and symposium in partnership with Sunderland University. They are seeking research and development projects that look at the bigger picture of systems in photography and film, encouraging applicants to think outside established norms to envision radical and unorthodox solutions. Selected residents will receive a grant of £3,400 to support research, development and final project outcome.
