Roscommon County Council Arts Office, in collaboration with the Housing Department, now invites submissions from artists/artist teams for two Public Art commissions under the Per Cent for Art Scheme. The commissions form part of Roscommon County Council’s ongoing investment in housing, place-making and community development and will support the creation of permanent public artworks within housing developments in Clúain na Coillte, Monksland and Shannon Valley, Ballaghaderreen. Both opportunities seek ambitious, high-quality artistic responses that engage with the unique character, history, landscape and aspirations of each location while fostering meaningful connections with local communities.
