The Axis Artist Awards support artists to develop their practice, test ideas, make work and keep going. This year, 38 artists will receive awards. There are 35 development awards of £1,000 to start something, test an idea, or move forward work that might otherwise stay on hold. There will also be 3 Fellow awarding ££4,000 for several months of time, space, and support to think, test, and share work in progress. Development Awards are open to all active, paying Axis members and the Fellowship is open to Professional Members only. Professional Members will be considered for both the Fellowship and the Development Awards through the same application.
